“Fashion shows are magical!”
The beautiful month of fashion shows around the world comes to a close (one day to conclude Paris Fashion Week 2017). With a sumptuous New York Fashion Week ’17 and the most celebrated London Fashion Week ’17 trotted out the trending styles, I decided to round up the defining trends that are ready-to-wear in the next season. The world designers seems retrospecting the 80s era. The runway featured some of the must-haves for the coming autumn. In this post, I’m going to share some of my most favorite trends from London Fashion Week 2017 and New York Fashion Week 2017 in a mingled way…
1. Bright is right!
Leave those greys in your closet for now, the season’s trend is colour blocking! Pick your favorite bright colour and complement it for a uber chic colour-block style.
2. Oversize knit and guilty treat!
Treat yourself in sheer knits that are comfy, classy and a bit oversizey! You can go with turtlenecks and long length jumper with a fancy pair of leggings.
3. Frock on fleek!
A Middle Eastern inspired trend, midi frocks are here to rule! A floral frock justifies the fashion rule of the season. You can style it up with boots for colder days and gladiators for summer. How cool is it!
4. Loud and Proud
Quirky slogans is the next big trend that will be staying here for a long. From an embroided slogan to applique and from patches to printed, I can see the designers are going loud and proud, quite literally!
5. Velvet is in!
The magnificent New York Fashion Week put up with the autumn fashion with lush fabric like Velvet. A bodysuit in velvet is something I feel like I’ll be living up in the upcoming season.
6. Horizontal calling!
From bold and multicoloured lines to broad and narrow linings, NYFW Spring gives us a reason to flaunt the structured trend of the season.
7. Back to Crop!
Crop top is he blessing baby of this year and I can’t stop falling for ’em. I love how the world designer is bringing a creative twist to the basic crop top. With D-ring and structured detailing, crop tops with D-ring are my favorite!
8. Athleisure baby!
Now that this trend is been spotted and heard a zillion times, athleisurehood is in the fashion lexicon. From sweatshirts to joggers and to pinnies, everything sporty is on game!
