Best Of September Favorites: Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle | TBB Edit

Hola Sugarcups!

I hope you all are doing great folks. The festive season is here and I’m already divulging in it. Pardon me for not being able to post the ‘September Favorites’ in the first week since I was gearing up for one of the most celebrated Indian festival – Navratri (and I had just sooooo much fun… if you are following me on Snapchat and Instagram you’d be already knowing). September was a wild month for me. I was doing some crazy street shopping as well as splurging in some beauty products and building my Winter/Fall wardrobe with some warmer staples. I’m totally looking forward to taking some chill time in October, but don’t worry, I’ll still be sharing some fashion and lifestyle posts on the blog. Today I’m sharing some of my Septembers’s favorites; fashion picks, beauty fixes and lifestyle updates.

This is what my Best Of September Favorites look like when I mosaic ’em all together…

September Favorites II

1. Round Sunglasses

Well, the mint green colour is making me fall for this season. The colour is just so versatile that you can dress up as well as dress down- all the way you want! I incorporated this shade in my sunglasses. I DIYed this bold black round sunnies in pretty mint green shade which looks soooo adorable, no?

2. Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

I was becoming more of a homebody and putting my nose in some cool books this September. So this one from Stieg Larsson is my recent addiction.

3. Nykaa Pastel Nail Enamel – Rose Quartz, No. 27

I’m absolutely in love with this cute pastel pink shade from Nykaa.com. The best of pastel pink world is here and this will be in vogue forever! Invest in some pastel love and you’ll never fail to flaunt one of your best asset.

4. Lemon Water

Oh, yes this is one is a lifestyle update. I’ve started having lukewarm lemon water in the morning since a month and trust me this is a kicker! I feel very energized for the entire day. It also helps in deflate and tighten your glutens and skin tissues(who wouldn’t want firmer skin, ya?)

5. Statement Ring

Another DIY ring. Inspired from the pom pom trend that’s just everywhere, I created a DIY pom pom ring for Navratri dressing. And I’m just so enthralled to style it with my casuals. You’ll soon see a blog post on how to reuse the festive jewels for casual days.

6. Traditional Lengha Choli

Gujarat’s traditional ghaghra choli is revised and now it is more of lengha choli! How can I go without picking one bright colorful lengha choli this Navratri? You can buy a complete package of lengha, choli and dupatta that is easily available. But I mixed and matched the three to create a new look.

7. Gym Wear

I’m skipping my gym these days (sorry) just because the September didn’t allow me to spare time for my gym session but I made sure that I don’t loose my stamina. I tried to workout thrice a week and I bought this super comfy track pant from United Colours Of Benetton and top from Urban Yoga.

8. Statement Nceklace

A random street pick from my trip to Udaipur. They have this very pretty necklace in ethnic style. Don’t forget to buy one if you ever get to go there.

9. Livon Hair Serum

I picked up a trial sachet to check the credibleness and I’m definitely pleased with the result! It does control frizzy hair like a pro. This has now become one of my favorite hair care product.

10. L’Oreal Mat Magique All In One Matte Transforming Powder

Best for combination skin. Although it claims to stay whole day, but for someone like me who is always out for shoots, it requires re-application every three hours 😦 L’Oreal has always impressed me with their lipsticks and mascaras. This one is one of the go-to product from the house.

11. Statement Choker

A visit to the city of Surat is a treat! From food to fashion, the city loves and lures the shoppers from globe (no I’m not exaggerating!) I found this pretty choker with colorful beads and this was my love at first sight!

12. Ethnic Trouser

Steal from the sale season is this ethnic trouser. I got it for just $2.50! Trouser like this is so versatile and by far, I’ve been styling it with my workwear as well as weekend outfit. 😉

13. Embellished Chokers

Again a star steal from my street shopping spree in Surat. An embellished choker is a master of your jewelry collection. Invest in one and you’ll always thank me! ❤

14. Sunflower Necklace

Added a bohemian vibes to my ethnic wear was my key to dress the festive month of September. So I picked this epic sunflower all-boho necklace from a flea market.

15. Socks

I was drooling when I stumbled upon this very cute happysocks.in web-store where they have the coolest knit socks. I picked three pairs of socks and I’m so much in love with ’em!

16. Studs

Lol, yes a mint green coloured ear studs! I somehow couldn’t resist myself and grabbed this chic looking studs from the flea market.

17. Elle 18 Nail Pops

The cream green nail colour from the Elle 18 house is pretty perfect. I pinched myself when I found this super cute colour for just $0.15! The colour looks stunning (check my Instagram to see how smooth it looks like)

So that’s all what I was raving about September month. Let me know if you have had tried any of these. Don’t forget to follow me on my Instagram (jasminkhakhar), Roposo (iamjasmin) and Snapchat (jasminkhakhar)

Until next post,
